Railways Installed Automated Mask and Sanitizer Dispenser Machine at Patna Junction
Automated Face Mask and Hand Sanitizer dispenser machine commissioned at Patna Station of Bihar to facilitate those passengers who forgot to carry their mask/sanitizer while coming to Railway Station.
To prevent the corona epidemic, the railway has instructed passengers and employees to apply face masks and sanitize their hands from time to time. Indian Railways is also strictly enforcing the safety measures for the passengers during the journey. In such a situation, if you have forgotten to take a face mask and sanitizer with you in a hurry to travel by train or for any other reason, then there is nothing to worry about. An automated face mask and hand sanitizer dispenser machine has been installed at Patna Junction for such passengers. Any traveller can get a mask from it. This machine is automatic, so there will be no risk of infection.

While giving information about this, the railways tweeted and said that, “Why worry when the railway is with you. Travelers who have forgotten to bring masks and sanitizers, they need not worry. For the convenience of passengers at Patna junction, automatic mask and sanitizer dispenser machine has been installed by the Railways.”
Foot Pedal Operated Dispenser Also Installed at Patna Junction
Danapur Division has deployed Hand-Wash Stations, a COVID-19 prevention measure with CSR initiative from Hindustan Unilever limited. The Hand-Wash Station is a foot pedal operated hand wash and water dispensing mechanism, which is installed to avoid contact in public places, and has been provisioned at Patna junction. 4 people can use it simultaneously.
Automated Sanitizer Machines Have Been Installed On Many More Stations of Danapur Rail Division
Automated hand sanitizer has also been installed on many more railway stations of Danapur division which falls under the East Central Railway. Railways are fully concerned about the health of passengers and are trying to make essential preparations for the welfare of passengers regularly.
Senior DCM of Danapur railway zone has given this information about the new automated hand sanitizer installed on different stations of Danapur Rail Division. The automated sanitizer machines on railways stations have been installed by Krishna enterprises. Sr. DCM said,
“ thanks to Krishna Enterprises for coming forward and installing automatic hand sanitizer dispenser machines at Patna City, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara & Buxar stations in CSR scheme. Even small contributions re-assure our faith in – Together We Can.”
NGO’S and Self Help Groups Also Present on Railway Stations of ECR
Self help groups & NGO’s are available at Patna, Rajendra Nagar & Patliputra stations to provide masks and sanitizers to passengers (on nominal cost price) who have missed the same. It has reduced the inconvenience to passengers who were finding it difficult to get them after reaching the station.
Apart from this, a tunnel has also been made for sanitization of goods with hand sanitizer dispensing machine for passengers at Ratlam railway station. They have been constructed locally at Diesel shed Ratlam for protection from Covid-19. At the same time, a touch-free wash basin has been installed at Guwahati railway station for the convenience of washing hands of passengers.
