Indian Railways is Building World-Class Ayodhya Railway Station on Ram Mandir Model
Preparations for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya are in full swing; on the other hand, Ayodhya railway station is also being transformed.
Rail News: Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, has been the focal point of devotion and faith since ages. The religious significance this city draws devotees towards the city. Now, when the Ram temple is going to be constructed in Ayodhya, the rejuvenation of Ayodhya station has also been started. The station will be redesigned on the lines of the Ram temple itself. The development work of the station will be completed by June 2021.

Modern Facilities Will Be Available At The World-Class Railway Station
General Manager, North Central Railway, Rajiv Chaudhary said that the holy city of Ayodhya, adorned with the footsteps of Lord Rama, has supreme religious significance. Keeping in mind the importance of this city, the work of providing a new form to the railway station is going on by modernizing the Ayodhya railway station by the Railways board. In the coming time, the pilgrims and tourists visiting this station will get modern facilities equipped with high standards.
These New Facilities Will Be Available at Ayodhya Railway station
The number of ticket counters will be increased at the railway station. Waiting Room facility will also be expanded. There will be air-conditioned waiting rooms, foot overbridges, food plazas and shops. Apart from this, facilities like tourist centre, taxi booth, and lounge will also be available.
Ayodhya Railway Station Will Be Transformed with a Budget of Rs 104 Crores
Ayodhya station is being decorated with new and modern passenger facilities, and construction work is in progress. An amount of Rs 80 crores was approved for its construction in 2017-18, which has now been increased to Rs 104.77 crores. The entire Ayodhya railway station will be transformed into two phases. After the transformation, the railway station’s architecture will appear as a unique blend of art, history, religion, and modern technology.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal Also Tweeted This Information
Earlier on Sunday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted about the redevelopment of Ayodhya station. He wrote that the railway is redeveloping Ayodhya station under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the devotees who come to visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, a symbol of the faith of crores of people of the country.
Accommodation Will Also Be Built For Railway Personnel
A railways official said that apart from making two dozen drinking water booths, more than 150 steel benches, waiting rooms, restrooms and accommodations for railway personnel will also be made available at the station. A separate entry and exit gate will be constructed at the nearby railway crossing so that the devotees will not have any inconvenience in moving across a crowd.
PM Modi Will Perform Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan Tomorrow
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya on 5 August. More than 200 people will attend this event. However, because of Corona, the program is significantly limited. Still, preparations for Bhoomi Pujan are in full swing in Ayodhya. The entire city is painted yellow. Paintings of God have been depicted on walls throughout the city.
