However, the entire nation is waiting for the train service to resume its normal speed. Before the commencement of operations; Indian Railways is planning to change or adapt some measures which can avoid the coronavirus infection among passengers. Under this perspective, railways will no more provide the blankets to the passengers; instead, they will be provided with a thick khadi bedroll. It can be easily washed after use by a passenger. All coaches will be sanitized as soon as the trains reach their destination.

These blankets were used by dozens of passengers which can spread coronavirus infection.

All Coaches will be sanitized

After the trains arrive at the destination all the coaches will be sanitized and disinfected only then the trains will run for their return journey. The railway administration is considering the curtain and blankets of the AC coach to be replaced with plastic curtains and khadi bedroll. Plastic curtains will replace the current one that can be washed easily. The white sheet, pillow cover and towel found in the AC coach are then washed after the journey ends. At the same time, the blankets will be replaced with a sheet of Khadi or synthetic cloth. After its use, it will be washed and then forwarded to other passengers.
