Special Train Departs From Hyderabad to Jharkhand with 1284 Labourers
Homecoming of workers and students stranded thousands of kilometres away from their states will now be easier. In fact, a special train carrying 1284 labourers from Lingampalli station in Hyderabad has left for Hatia in Jharkhand on Friday morning. RPF DG Arun Kumar told RailMitrasourcesthat the train, which opens from Hyderabad, will run non-stop and will reach Hatia at around 11.30 pm on Friday night. He said that all the labourers were also investigated and on reaching Hatia, the government there would also work for screening of all the labourers. It is estimated that about five lakh workers of Jharkhand are stranded in various states.

On Friday, Bihar Deputy CM,Sushil Kumar Modi had demanded the central government to run a special train. He had said that more than 25 lakh people of Bihar are stranded due to lockdown in many states. It is not possible to bring them by bus, and it will also take a long time to get them from far-flung areas. The railway can run a special train under its pilot project on Friday.If this facility is started for Bihar, it will greatly help stranded people in returning home. Additionally, running as non-stop trains, the danger of spreading the coronavirus will also be reduced during the journey. Chief Minister of Bihar,Nitish Kumar is also holding a high-level meeting regarding the return of people trapped outside Bihar.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that due to the lockdown, the government has started working for the safe return of millions of labourers, brothers, sisters, students, patients and others trapped in various states. “I urge you to be patient, your government will reach you soon, be healthy.” On the Labour Day, he called the Jharkhand people along with all the workers, saying that,“I know that you have to suffer in lockdown, we are working for your speedy return and betterment.”
