Indian Railways will begin Udaipur Surat Vande Bharat operations from October 3, 2026. This announcement is a part of the extension of the Udaipur-Asarva train to Surat. Vande Bharat connecting Rajasthan and Gujarat will cover multiple stations during the journey.
The Railway Board approved the introduction of train numbers 26904/26903 will operate from the first week of October. The train will extend its services from Udaipur to Surat, offering faster connectivity between these cities.
Udaipur to Surat Vande Bharat Express Announcement
Recently, the Railway Board has approved the service extension of Udaipur City – Asarva Vande Bharat Express. Therefore, another announcement also includes the termination of this service.
The new service between Udaipur and Surat is the extension of the Udaipur – Asarva service and will operate from October 3. Moreover, the train will run six days a week, improving options for passengers.
Udaipur Surat Vande Bharat Train Stoppages
The Udaipur to Surat Vande Bharat Express covers multiple stations on its route. It will cover stations such as Zawar, Dungarpur, Shamlaji Road, Himmatnagar, Asarva, Maninagar, Anand, Vadodara, and Bharuch on its route.
Each station halt duration varies and ranges from 2 minutes to 5 minutes. The Vande Bharat Express train will cover 690 Km in 07:30 hours. The train can run at a speed of up to 160 Km per hour.

The train will have 8 car-coach compositions to meet sufficient demand and complete the journey on time. However, the train will include all the premium services to improve passengers comfort and travel expectations.
