Vande Bharat Brings Longer Trains, Sleeper Coaches, and 350 km/h Travel

The Indian railway infrastructure is planning to transform the features that help passengers to take benefit. It will introduce three major enhancements to its well-known Vande Bharat series. These changes are: Longer train sets, luxurious coaches, and high-speed corridors reaching up to 350 km/h .

 

Expansion of Vande Bharat Train Length

 

Indian Railways is continuously upgrading the Vande bharat services by increasing the number of coaches to offer the best service to the passengers. Indian Railways is upgrading services on routes such as Mangaluru Central–Thiruvananthapuram Central, Secunderabad–Tirupati, and Chennai Egmore–Tirunelveli by increasing 16-coach trains to 20, while doubling 8-coach sets to 16 on other routes. Before booking a ticket on this routes, it is vital to check the PNR Status  and make your journey indelible. 

Indian Railways increased the occupancy rate by 100% in some services and expanded operations to relieve congestion and improve capacity.

 

New Sleeper and Luxury Coach Variants

 

Vande Bharat platform is being extended its travel for overnight with special sleeper coach variants. This Vande Bharat now includes new sets of AC First class, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier berths. It will also include smooth interior, and amplified amenities especially crafted to offer comfort. Indian Railways’ new luxurious coaches are meant to set a new benchmark of comfort. 

 

This move opens the Vande Bharat brand to long-distance overnight routes and broader passenger segments. This train does not restrict you to book a ticket along with meals so you have ample options tobook food in train  by e-catering apps as per your taste preferences. 

 

Vande Bharat 4.0 & 350 km/h Corridors

 

Indian Railways decided to launch the next generation Vande Bharat 4.0 trains during the duration of next 18 months. It is designed in a way to top up to 350km/h on committed high speed corridors. 

 

Indian Railways is looking to the future ahead and these trains decided to upgrade in comfort, safety and performance.  It is also going to introduce Accessible restrooms, better suspension and upliftment of the coach design.

 

The development signals India’s ambition to integrate global-level high-speed rail technologies into its network.
