Why These New Routes Matter

Indian Railways is the most dependable mode of transport for most of the Indians. It has got this status primarily because of its long distance journeys that have connected all of India into one unit. Students, migrant work force, families visiting their relatives or people going for vacations usually go on long train journeys.

Premium trains lille Vande  bharat are making the news for the speed and technology they are implementing. However, these premium services come with a premium cost as well. This makes such services practically out of the reach for the majority of Indians.

Vande Bharat Express trains on these new routes are aimed at tackling exactly this situation. It provides passengers affordable long train journeys with better amenities. The facilities of Amrit Bharat trains do not match Vande Bharat trains but easily top that of the mail trains. At this price, this is a significant bonus for budget conscious travellers.

If you want to check the train schedule of any train, you can easily do it at the RailMitra platform. Checking the train timetable online is much more convenient and faster than checking it physically.

What This Means for Travellers

The launch of Amrit Bharat Express trains would bring a number of advancements for the passengers. Here are some of the bonus features:

  • Reduction in travel tiredness: Long train travel often required changing multiple trains, which aggravated the issue of travel fatigue. Not anymore with the newly launched long distance trains.
  • Enhanced Affordability: On an average, the travel cost for Amrit Bharat Express trains comes out to be ₹500/1000 kilometres. This is less than ₹0.5/ kilometre. If this isn’t affordable, I don’t know what is.
  • Better Onboard Facilities: The coaches are much more spacious, cleaner, charging facilities near every passenger and even the lighting has been upgraded.
  • Time Saved: The new trains have limited halts and better speed which saves a significant chunk of passenger’s travel time.

These changes make Passenger feel more fulfilled and also boosts the demand for more of such facilities. If you want to track your train live along with the platform on which the train will arrive, you can check RailMitra’s live train running status. It’s fast and absolutely free.

Looking Ahead

Millions of passengers rely on Indian Railways for their long journeys. Most of these people don’t have the means to afford the premium Vande Bharat trains. The launch of the Amrit Bharat Express initiative and the recent launch of 9 new trains tries to fill this wide gap.

Passengers get to enjoy significantly enhanced features without losing a lot of pocket weightage. This step of Indian Railways is bound to provide a level playing field to a vast populace of varied economic capabilities and bring in the element of equity.
