24 Pairs of Special Trains Started Operating For Bihar in Lockdown 5
The process of relaxation in the coronavirus lockdown 5.0 has started. The first phase of exemption in Lockdown 5.0 has started from today. Train travel has also become easier. In Bihar, 24 pairs of additional special trains have also started operating from today. Several types of advisories have been issued by the Railways for travelling by train. Along with the railway personnel, all passengers will also have to follow the advisories.

24 Pairs of Special Trains Operating in Bihar
Six pairs of AC special trains started operating from May 12 in the East Central Rail Zone. Apart from these, 24 pairs of special trains have started operating from June 1st. 20 pairs of trains will start or are passing through the Danapur division area. Preparations to start operating trains in Danapur division were completed on Sunday. Patna Junction, Rajendranagar Terminal, Pataliputra and Danapur stations were sanitized. Coaches of trains parked in the yard were completely sanitized again. Ticket inspectors and technicians in trains have been asked to report to duty in the full safety kit.
First Train Started From Patna Junction at 05.30 AM
On Monday, 05.30 AM, the first train Janshatabdi Express departed from Patna Junction to Howrah. Half an hour later, during the operation of the first train, another Janshatabdi Express departed for Ranchi at six o’clock.

Rail Passengers Have to Follow These Guidelines:
• Only those who have reserved tickets will be allowed to travel on trains.
• No one is allowed to enter the station premises without masks or face cover.
• Passengers’ luggage will be sanitized as soon as they enter the premises.
• Thermal screening of passengers will be done on the platform.
• No one is allowed to enter the platform except the passenger.
• No bed linen and blankets will be available on the train.
Apart from this, no passengers will be allowed to board the train on the way after the departure of the train. TTEs have also been instructed not to offer a seat to anyone even if the berth is vacant. Vacant seats will be allotted only to RAC passengers. Passengers have been asked to carry food and drink during the journey. Only canned food will be available on the train.
On-Board Housekeeping Compulsory in Trains
Rajesh Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, said that on-board housekeeping has been made mandatory in all trains. All trains will have escort teams deployed with safety kits. Ticket inspectors have also been asked to use gloves, masks and sanitizers. Passengers who have a counter ticket will show their ticket and identity card to the TTE from a distance. All major stations and waiting halls have to be sanitized.
